Free Press Cartoon Competition

Last year, the Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) commemorated May 3, World Press Freedom Day, with our exhibition of press freedom cartoons. This year, they are organizing an international cartoon competition:
To mark World Press Freedom Day on May 3, Doha Centre for Media Freedom is organising a cartoon competition.  The centre hopes to find cartoons from all over the world, depicting the theme of “Media Freedom.”

The deadline for submission of work (by email) is April 1. There are cash prizes to be won, and the cartoons will be exhibited at the DCMF on World Press Freedom day. Competition rules and guideles can be found on the DCMF website.
